Before you ask
Is this an off-the-shelf dealer management system?
No. It is custom software built around how your dealership actually runs. The reason dealers come to us is usually that they have already tried a generic DMS and spent a year bending their process to fit it. We start from your process instead.
Does it work with our website and stock?
That is the point of it. We build the website and the stock feed as well, so your cars, your enquiries and your deals sit in the same system rather than three that don't speak. If you already have a site, we will tell you honestly whether it can feed in or whether it needs replacing.
Can it run our in-house finance book?
Yes, and that is where it has proved itself. Dart Motors runs a book of over R2 million in agreements on it live, with instalments, charges, arrears and reconciled payments, off paper entirely.
What does dealer management software cost in South Africa?
Custom work is scoped, not price-listed, because a stock and lead system is a very different build to a full finance book. What we can tell you is how to judge it: if the system stops one bad buy, surfaces one car standing too long, or catches one account sliding into arrears, it has usually paid for a large chunk of itself. We scope it properly after we have seen how you run.
Do we own it?
You own your data, always. We build it, host it and support it on the monthly, and you are never locked out of your own numbers.
How long does it take to build?
Longer than a website and worth being honest about. A stock and lead system is quick. A full finance book with reconciliation is a proper build, and Dart's grew in stages over months rather than landing in one drop. We phase it so you get value early instead of waiting for everything.
